ACTING & MUSICAL THEATER
YOUTH COURSE (12-18 Years Old)

Course Description:
This energizing course is designed to generate both artistic and personal growth, manifesting your very best self! It offers a range of revitalizing class activities for students to establish crucial introductory theater skill-sets that build confidence, where interaction with others cultivates a greater perceptual understanding through the five senses. Forging new pathways as individuals and in ensemble work, the classes focus on advancing intellect, self-awareness, articulation, vocal management, presentation preparation, projection, intention, quick thinking, decision-making, interaction, and the transmission of ideas and emotion through voice and body. Acting is an exhilarating experience, whether you are an amateur, aspiring professional, or seasoned professional. Through the development of commercial acting skill sets, students may look forward to their applications in theater, musicals, film, television, and business or commercial engagement. This course is intended for youth aged 12 - 18 years whose participation promotes exceptionalism. Its carefully crafted learning modules build a foundation of skills to be explored and applied in each class. From improvisation to innovation, this course teaches analytical techniques and procedures that enable each individual to blossom creatively and make their mark!
This course is divided into three separate semesters:
1st Semester: September - December
2nd Semester: January - May
Summer Intensive: July-August

ADULT COURSE (19-100 Years Old)

Course Description:
This stimulating course is designed for adults 19-100 from all professions, backgrounds, and life histories. A dynamic class that provides a positive, enriching environment that shines a spotlight on the procurement of acting knowledge and skill. This course offers an opportunity to manifest new chapters in your life! Discover your true creative spirit through invention, storytelling, taking risks, improvisation, diction, expression, making decisions, spontaneity, projection, physical embodiment, breathing, vocal management, and character development. The skills introduced can be applied in all genres, including stage, screen, musical, and more. Free your imagination in an open environment that invites students to trust in their innovative selves. Nourish your creative spirit to forge pathways for advanced self-awareness, perception, and the transmission of ideas and emotions through voice and body. This course will focus on the procurement of fundamental techniques delivered through detailed learning modules and practical in-class applications. Learning outcomes include communicating with clarity through emotional and physical embodiment, in a supportive, encouraging, risk-taking atmosphere that enables you to uncover your innate capacity for creativity.
